Renovatio is a fund launched by two partners, former entrepreneurs in tech, and supported by several private equity funds, dedicated to acquiring a profitable SME.

BAPTISTE GUEZ

FOUNDER & PARTNER

Baptiste graduated from Audencia Nantes in 2014.

He began his career as a strategy consultant at EY in the Paris office, focusing on post-merger reorganisation.

After two years, Baptiste co-founded Kol with a focus on sales and marketing. He developed a strong brand identity and built business relationships with suppliers like Pernod Ricard, LVMH, and Heineken.

After Kol, Baptiste worked for the high-growth Swedish company Cake as General Manager for France. There, he defined and implemented the commercial and marketing strategy, including setting the annual budget and managing the P&L.

PIERRE NICOLET

FOUNDER & PARTNER

Pierre graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MSc in Finance in 2011. He also holds a Master’s in Business & Administration from HEC Paris, specialising in finance and mergers & acquisitions.

Pierre started his career at Goldman Sachs in 2013 in London, working in the Alternative Investments department within Private Equity.

In 2016, he partnered with Baptiste to launch Kol as a co-founder, where he took charge of the financial and logistical aspects of the startup. He led the financial forecasting, managed the company's demanding logistics, and defined performance indicators (KPIs) for the various teams.

WE'VE BEEN IN YOUR SHOES

Former entrepreneurs in tech, we've experienced the highs and lows of entrepreneurship and are accustomed to managing teams and driving rapid growth.

Baptiste and Pierre developed Kol, an innovative startup specialised in the last-mile delivery of daily essentials, operating in Paris and London.

Kol has raised several million euros, including a major investment from Coca-Cola European Partners, marking their first venture capital investment in Europe.

Kol in a few metrics:

A tech platform capable of optimising customer relationship, order preparation, and fast delivery
1,500 product references and over 2,000 deliveries per day
An average delivery time of only 20 minutes
A monthly customer retention rate of 25% and a customer acquisition cost of €23, with a base of over 100,000 customers
35 full-time employees, a network of 300 delivery drivers, and a strong logistics infrastructure with six warehouses and a 500m² logistics hub in Paris

Looking to sustain the results of his company and its values
Interested in continuing the journey with former entrepreneurs
Willing to sell the majority of the company's shares
Interested in immediate liquidity
Open to a role as an advisor with no direct impact on operations
